SAN FRANCISCO — August 1, 2013 — FusionStorm, an award-winning IT solution provider with national U.S. coverage and global distribution capabilities, has joined forces with Synoptek, a rapidly growing cloud solutions and managed IT services firm, to provide managed IT services and cloud solutions to organizations worldwide. The partnership will help meet growing demand for cloud-based “as-a-service” technology and powerful hosted solutions to support on-premise systems.
By combining their respective cloud and managed services businesses into a new entity, FusionStorm and Synoptek have strengthened the ability of both firms to deliver these solutions. FusionStorm will have a significant equity stake in the new entity, which will operate under the Synoptek brand, and FusionStorm CEO Dan Serpico will hold a seat on the Synoptek board.

FusionStorm will focus these investments on its core business in data center infrastructure, Integration Centers and international logistics services.
